Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics at the Indiana University School of Medicine and the Center for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics.

I am interested in understanding how human evolutionary history shapes genetic variation and influences complex diseases. My research sits at the intersection of evolutionary genetics, population genetics, and statistical genetics, with a particular focus on developing computational methods that leverage human genetic diversity for genetic discovery.

At the HESG Lab, we develop innovative approaches for fine-mapping, genetic association studies, and population genetic inference. Our goal is to connect population history with disease biology and transform genetic diversity into a powerful tool for understanding human health and disease.
